Why WebMCP
Not a chatbot wrapper
The website exposes real procurement capabilities as structured browser tools. The agent can search, compare, recover the current procurement context, create a draft, and check order status without guessing through the UI. Supplier-returning tools are marked as untrusted content, while purchase approval stays outside the agent’s authority.
Agent recovery:
get_procurement_context returns the current requirements, shortlist, active draft, approval state, and last order so a multi-turn agent can resume safely.
